JOHN D. WEBSTER, the colored Republican, of Greenville, who is now earnestly working to secure the election of Gen. Catchings to Congress, said a good thing at the meeting in that town last week:
He "wished that he could photograph the Pearce meeting of the day; and the Catchings meeting of the night. And then forward said photographs to Washington as an exhibit in the contest Pearce threatened. No other testimony would be required."
