JACKSON, Feb. 24th, 1874.
Yesterday on entering the House, I found the Speaker's stand and the gallery festooned with black and white crape in honor of the memory of J. W. Glenn, a colored member from Lowndes county, who died at his home last week. To-day the House passed appropriate resolutions and adjourned till to-morrow.
