The Powers Guards.
A colored militia company was organized in this city under the above name, on the 16th inst. Upon reviewing the roll we see that a fair proportion of them are members of Hope Fire Company, No. 3. If they deport themselves as well, and in the same spirit of good will as militiamen as they have done as firemen, there will be no word of complaint against them.
