The Magnolia is seen throughout the Southeast and is known as a symbol of luck and stability.

Blue shield with gold eagle in the center. The eagle holds a palm frond and arrows in its talons, and has a red, white, and blue shield on its breast. It says "Virtute et Armis" on a red banner beneath.

Red with a blue swath bordered by gold. A magnolia flower is in the center surrounded by 20 white stars. The top star is gold and split into five pieces to represent the indigenous people of the area.
