Dublin Core

Description

Oaxaquenian men and women walking on sticks at sundown, using very long poles as extension of their legs. On the sidewalk of the street, the amazed audience observes the display of abilities of those that happily walk and dance in the traditional "calenda" as part of the traditions of the Day of the day in the city of Oaxaca, Mexico. This calendas (traditional parades) are always accompanied by one or more music bands.
