James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner were murdered in the summer of 1964 and their bodies were hidden at the dam site. The date listed on this source reads indicates that the resources is associated with September 23rd, 1977, but it is not known if this date refers to when it was created or if it is the date a copy was made.
