AN ACT to incorporate the Mississippi Loan and Savings Institution of Vicksburg.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi, That Wm. McLean, Hannibal C. Carter, W. M. Carter, Samuel J. Ireland, James J. Spelman, Ira B. Hinkly, Thos. W. Stringer, and their associates and successors, and all who may hereafter become associated with them, and their assigns, be, and they are hereby created a body corporate, by the name and style of the Mississippi Loan and Savings Institution, and by that name shall have succession for fifty years, and shall have a common seal, sue and be sued, plead and be impleaded, and possess all powers incident to all corporations necessary and proper to carry on the business of, and effect the object contemplated by this charter.
