Dr. John Gartman, who aspired to legislative honors from Lawrence county, at the hands of the Radical party, has been thrown overboard by his party, and a negro named Cuffy Chambers substituted. Cuffy has himself since been backed down, and one George Charles put in his place. Who he is, is immaterial; our young friend Cassidy will beat him badly.
