Observations in the East.
Rev. Hugh M. Foley, colored, of Natchez, who some time ago was transferred to the New Jersey Conference of the A. M. E. Church, has been transferred back to the Mississippi Conference, much to the gratification of his friends. Rev. Mr. Foley requests us to state that on Thursday evening, of this week, at half past seven o'clock, he will deliver a lecture at Zion Chapel, A. M. E. Church, on the subject of "Observations in the East," being a review of the impressions made upon him during his pastorate in New Jersey. The public are cordially invited to attend the lecture.
