REPUBLICAN CONVENTION OF THE FOURTH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT OF MISSISSIPPI.
The Republican Convention of the Fourth Congressional District met at this place in Odd Fellows' Hall, Aug. 20, 1875, at 12 o'clock m., and was called to order by Hon. H. W. Warren, Chairman of the Congressional Executive Committee, who stated the object of the meeting.
On motion Hon. Wm. Gray, of Washington county, was chosen Chairman of the temporary organization, and W. H. Foote, of Yazoo, was chosen Secretary.
