M. M. Mcleod, one of the most prominent negro lawyers and politicians of the State dropped dead to-day on the streets of Aberdeen, whither he had gone to attend a lodge meeting. He was clerk of this city for years under the Republican regime and stood well with all classes. He had a lucrative law practice here.
