Environmental Sculptures is a collaborative project initiated in 2013 by Jim Swaim and Paul Quirk, driven by a concern for environmental pollution observed along the Intracoastal Waterway. The initiative creates engaging sculptures primarily from collected litter and debris. These large-scale artworks aim to educate, engage, and inspire communities to take action towards a more sustainable future by visually highlighting the issue of waste and its potential for transformation. Jim Swaim's fabrication expertise and Paul Quirk's artistic design skills combine to bring these impactful sculptures to life.
