EXIT BOWLES.
MR. PRESIDENT: Your Special Committee appointed for the purpose of ascertaining the whereabouts of the Hon. C. M. Bowles, Senator from the Twenty-eighth District, beg leave to report that Senator Bowles has not been in his county since November 1873, nor in the State, as far as your committee can learn, and recommend the adoption of the following resolution:
Resolved, That the seat of the Hon. C. M. Bowles, Senator from the Twenty-eighth District, be and the same is hereby declared vacant, and the Governor requested to order a special election to fill the vacancy.
