Douglass. D. W. Atwood has three brothers, Dr. O. M. Atwood, who is a prominent physician of Washington, who paid Kansas City a visit several years ago, L. K. Atwood, of Mississippi, at present a member of the State Legislature, and W. D. Atwood, of Michigan, a lumber merchant. A prominent family. The boys were born in Alabama, but went to Ohio before the war, where they were educated. -Gate City Press.
