On Second Thought
By Jay E. House.
Emanuel Handy, of Atchison, is an unusual man and we endorse him. Emanuel held to certain views pertaining to the recent and lamented election which he desired to express. He did not, however, quarrel with the gloating and victorious Democrats or annoy his neighbors. Instead, he bought a column of advertising space in the Atchison Globe and expressed his opinions there.
We have read Mr. Handy's opinions, as expressed in the Globe. We do not know what they are, since he neglected to say. But we endorse his system.
