AN ACT to incorporate the African Methodist Episcopal Church of Vicksburg, in the city of Vicksburg.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Mississippi, That John W. Bowman, Judson Clarke, Albert Johnson, Thomas Shy and Charles Head, and their successors in office, be and they are hereby created a body politic and corporate by the name and style of the African Methodist Episcopal Church of Vicksburg, in the city of Vicksburg, and by that name may be able and capable of suing and being sued, pleading and being impleaded, answering and being answered in all Courts of law or equity in this State or elsewhere.
