Mrs. Shadd, wife of Hon. J. D. Shadd ex-speaker of the House in Mississippi, is visiting friends and relatives at Xenia and Wilberforce. Having studied at Oberlin, she wanted her son, who is with her, to go there and prepare for the legal profession, but she has decided that Wilberforce is the place for her. She is very much surprised to find Wilberforce what it is, and after visiting the museum she exclaimed to President Lee: "The half has not been told - Wilberforce is not known."
