Son of Mrs. Sanders Oakley. Wife is the former Mary Cowsert, State College. Entered the Army in June, 1943. Took basic at Fort McClelland. Additional training at State College, and Pickett, Va. Served in European theatre with Patton's Army. Wounded twice.
