SHARKEY COUNTY.
F. P. P. Brooks, of Sharkey, was born in Madison county, Miss., Sept. 22nd, 1850; was educated in the common schools of Vicksburg, and has held heretofore the positions of Supervisor and Magistrate; is a planter, Republican, Baptist and married. Mr. Brooks is entirely a self-made man, having gone from the Hills to his present county as a cotton picker, his advancement is due altogether to his own efforts. Address, Blanton, Miss.
