Over The Alligator

Dublin Core

Description

With calm summer conditions, I captured this Aerial of the Alligator Reef Lighthouse in the Florida Keys. The name honors the U.S. Navy schooner Alligator, an anti-Piracy vessel out of Key West which ran aground and wrecked at this spot in 1822. My very expensive, custom-made drone went bonkers during this shoot, and I had to force crash land into my boat. While the drone is no more, this photo lives on.
