HON. W. H. FOOTE, Clerk of the Circuit Court of Yazoo county, who was wounded in the Yazoo difficulty of the 1st ultimo, was in the city Friday, the 1st instant. We are happy to state that, although the injury received by Mr. Foote was of a very dangerous nature, he is able to be about comfortably and has almost entirely recovered. This is the fifth time that Mr. Foote has been the recipient of bullets.
