About
About National Poetry Month
National Poetry Month, the largest literary celebration in the world, was established by the Academy of American Poets in 1996 to recognize the inherent value of poetry. It is observed each April. This exhibit was created in light of this celebration and to acknowledge the achievements of poets associated with Mississippi State University.
