Freedmen's School Report about Henry Mayson

Excerpt from a Freedmen's Bureau report about a school to be started by Henry Mayson in Jackson.

There is to be another school for the freedpeople, to be commenced in Jackson on the second Monday of next month, by Mr. Henry Mayson, also a colored man. This school, like the former, is to be a pay-school. The tuition in both is 50 cents per month for each pupil.
