Hon. J. T. Settle, of Memphis, Tenn., is strongly backed for Assistant District Attorney of that city. The Evening Tribune, a white paper, speaking of him says: "He is in every respect qualified for the position we trust he may secure it. A bright, intelligent man, a fluent speaker, and a lawyer of no mean capacity, and also very much of a gentleman, Joseph T. Settle would do honor to any position he may be elected to." -Indianapolis Freeman.
