Lawrence W. Overton (Noxubee County)

Teacher. Attended Oberlin College from 1869-1872 and was listed there on the 1870 census. By the time of the 1880 census, Overton was living in Macon with wife Izella Richmond (1855-1941) and three children. Izella is a widow on the 1900 census in Macon. According to later census records, all three of their children were teachers.
